October U.S Forecast & New Moon Report

The New Moon of September 27, 2011 falls at 4° Libra, the sign representative of peace and harmony, cooperation and balance. There’s a stellium of planets in Libra and Venus has the most sway. The whole group works for Venus. Venus seeks the company of others, enjoys socializing and partnering. Venus is also super sensitive when any area of life is out of balance.

In the chart cast for Washington D.C., this Libra New Moon falls in conjunction with the First House cusp, signaling an important month, when the affairs concerning the people come to the front. This is the house that rules the people and the general conditions of the nation as a whole; its vitality, strength, or lack of it. Clearly, the people want more cooperation that can lead to better conditions. The square from Pluto to the First House cusp and to the New Moon is an indicator of “dis-ease”; unsatisfactory conditions and a disturbance to peace and harmony. There is little hope of politicians finding easy agreement with the NM opposing Uranus. There appears to be wrangling, arguments, conflicting plans, and struggles for control. People are left to fend for themselves, feeling there is no leadership. There’s a lot of talk, political excitement and debate, but nothing much gets done.

Venus conjunct Saturn shows that people are being ultra conservative, cautious and self-disciplined with their spending. Venus conjunct Saturn is unfortunate for business and economic matters. It is associated with depreciation in stock and share values. Banks and businesses do not prosper and some may fail. Social and family life is adversely affected by economic factors. There are cases of want and poverty.

Saturn conjunct Venus also foreshadows problems in property and real estate markets. There may be declining values or properties are not selling well. Building operations and property markets suffer. The government has its hands full trying to revive failing markets. Crops suffer; yields are not good. There could be mining accidents or incidents due to Pluto square Mercury.

Mars forms several nice aspects. It is elevated in the chart, bringing military matters up for discussion. There may be some military victory or beneficial changes or reforms. There may be honors for military men or new vessels built or launched.

Mars is sextile the Ascendant in a close orb, which is helpful. This infuses new energy into the affairs of the country and increases energy for tackling difficult tasks. This could be an advantage for innovative folks. In fact, this could be very good for those with creative or entrepreneurial skills, though better for the planning stages, getting things set up and completing tasks than for expansion. We are in a period of the introduction of many new kinds of undertakings and innovations. Opportunities may be limitless for those who can think outside the box.

Neptune in the Fifth House is sesquiquad Venus, affecting women and family life. There may be scandals, divorces, increased illegitimacy, or concerns about crimes against women and children. There may be scandals in theatrical circles. Educational affairs and children’s interests are disturbed. With an increase in gambling and betting, losses from speculation could occur.

New Moon

Uranus in the Sixth House of health, combined with hard aspects to the Ascendant, suggests that health concerns for the country will come up for discussion. (Click the image to view the chart, then use your back button.)

Foreign affairs are complicated and troublesome with Uranus so close to the cusp of the Seventh House in opposition to the NM and square Pluto.

Jupiter in the Eighth House, and here squared by Mars, is associated with the deaths of royalty, bankers, financiers, preachers, lawyers or doctors. Jupiter rules the Third House of transport workers and communications sectors. Jupiter’s condition, also in a critical degree, reflects upon the USPS woes.

When it comes to weather and land conditions, Pluto on the cusp of the Fourth House suggests possible earthquakes and weather extremes. The square of Pluto to Uranus is a storm breeder and could end up affecting the whole season. For this month anyway, there could be severe storms or weather systems. The Sun/Mercury conjunction may mean the formation of tropical storm systems. Mercury rules the Ninth House of coastal conditions and it is opposing Uranus and square Pluto, showing the potential for storms around the coasts. Potential for storms or earth changes are heightened the days around this lunation; a few days before and after.

Overall, it appears that peace and harmony in the country is disturbed by upsetting or unfortunate changes. The Cardinal T- square ties into the U.S. Venus and Jupiter, forming a Grand Cross on the NM angles. It reflects the general tone. There is agitation in the country, with confusion and disorder. There is growing dissatisfaction among the various classes with the Obama administration, with mounting discontent among the working classes. Financial and economic matters are the source of many problems. There are reassessments and serious difficulties to overcome.

In your own chart, take note of your natal house where this NM at 4° Libra falls. This will bring new energy and stimulation to those house affairs and involving the people of this house. You see chances for new beginnings and your attention is turned to these matters for the next four weeks. If the NM falls within five degrees before a house cusp, consider it influencing that house. For all of us a strong theme this month centers on new starts in relationships and the responsibilities they entail. Relationships require special handling. Partnerships can thrive if we are sensitive to the needs of others. Maturity in relationships goes a long way now and partnerships do well so long as the right terms are understood and agreed upon before making a commitment. Close associations such as marriage or business partnerships come up for appraisal. Be clear with yourself about what it is you really want. Especially when it comes to relationships, you may find that you will try to smooth over any rough edges and increase the overall harmony. The Full Moon brings an extremely creative period. Wishing you a productive month! Celeste Teal 9/23/2011
